Embark on an extraordinary family adventure that will transport you back in time to an era where Romans roamed and the enigmatic city of Petra was crafted by the Nabateans. Our journey begins in the north, where we’ll visit the Roman city of Jerash and indulge in some local experiences in Ajloun.

At the Dead Sea, prepare for a unique experience as you effortlessly float in its buoyant, saline waters. Take in the awe-inspiring landscapes, cycle along the sea shores while basking in the beauty of the sunset, and explore the narrow-wet trail in Bin Hammad before continuing our journey to Petra.

In Petra, we’ll spend a full day exploring the mesmerizing Nabatean red rose city, followed by a delightful dinner with a local family. The next day, we’ll drive to Wadi Rum and enjoy a short cycle amidst the breathtaking desert sands and mountains. Welcomed by a warm Bedouin family, your stay will become a cherished memory of the holiday. Experience a thrilling 4X4 ride in the desert before heading further south to the Red Sea city of Aqaba, where you can cycle along the red sea, appreciate local crafts, enjoy a short golf course, and have some leisure time at the Saraya Water Park.

Our last city in this incredible journey is Madaba, where we’ll conclude the trip with a plethora of memorable experiences and magical visits.

  • Day 2

    Visits Jerash, Al Ma’awa visit - Ajloun castle visit

    Start your day with a morning briefing from your tour leader at the hotel meeting room. Get ready for an exciting day of exploration and adventure. Board a comfortable bus and embark on a 45-minute journey to the ancient city of Jerash. Upon arrival, be prepared to step back in time as you explore a city with a history spanning over 6500 years. Learn about Jerash's significance as one of the ten great Roman cities in the Decapolis League and marvel at the remarkably well-preserved Roman ruins, making it one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns globally. Continue your journey to Al Ma’wa, discover the establishment's noble mission of providing a regional solution for rescued wildlife. Gain insights into the rehabilitation and veterinary care provided to the rescued animals at the New Hope Centre. Learn about the efforts made to ensure that rescued animals have a suitable and permanent home in the spacious and natural surroundings of Al Ma'wa Wildlife Reserve. After a morning of cultural and wildlife exploration, it's time for the next part of the day's adventure. Proceed to Ajloun and visit Ajloun Castle, a historic fortress that stands as a testament to Jordan's strategic importance during medieval times. Admire the castle's impressive architecture and learn about its historical significance as a military stronghold, protecting the region and controlling vital trade routes. Take in the captivating surroundings from the hilltop location, providing sweeping views of the northern regions of Jordan. By the end of the Day, you will have explored the medieval fortress of Ajloun Castle and experienced a diverse itinerary that combines the rich history of Jerash, the conservation efforts at Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife, and the captivating charm of Ajloun Castle. This comprehensive and enriching experience will offer a deeper understanding of Jordan's cultural heritage and wildlife conservation efforts in the northern regions of the country. Back to Amman for overnight.

  • Day 3

    Ajloun Roe Deer Trail, Biscuit's House, Calligraphy House, The Soap House - Dead Sea

    Begin your day by embarking on the enchanting Ajloun Roe Deer Trail. This scenic journey through the wilderness of Ajloun offers a perfect blend of nature, wildlife, culture, and adventure. Whether you have a deep love for nature, are passionate about history, or simply enjoy hiking, this trail promises an unforgettable experience amidst Jordan's natural splendor. Immerse yourself in the serenity of the surroundings as you venture along the trail, discovering the beauty and diversity of the region's landscapes. After an invigorating morning on the trail, head to Biscuit's House, The Biscuit House is currently owned and managed by local community women under a newly adopted community engagement model, where the women are transformed from traditional employees to actual local community entrepreneurs. Under this model, RSCN hopes to further build the capacity of those communities, provide them with the necessary know-how to manage and sustain their own income generating projects. The Biscuit House was originally funded through Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung and managed by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature for five years. Upon the House’s proven success, it was handed over to local community women as of September 2014. The women continue the production of RSCN Jordanian Delights products, branded Tasali. Continue to The House of Calligraphy, learn about the six most famous types of Arabic calligraphy and practice drawing your name in your favorite style. The House of Calligraphy promotes for dialogue between cultures and allows the visitor to be enchanted by the beauty of the Arabic language. You can also personalize your own postcard or frame to take back home as a souvenir while also supporting income generating activities for the local community women. Continue to The Soap House, At the Soap House located at the Royal Academy for the Conservation of Nature, local women use a variety of local ingredients, including lavender, geranium, mint and pomegranate, to create high-quality handmade natural olive oil soaps named Orjan Soap. The soaps are all produced using pure olive oil, combined with other natural oils, plant extracts and pure essential oils. Olive oil soap has numerous healing benefits for the skin; it is an ultra-moisturizing and mild soap that promotes a youthful natural glow through its ability to soften, hydrate and revitalize the skin. Olive oil soap is also rich in vitamin E and anti-oxidants. Consequently, this soap is extremely gentle when used to cleanse and refresh the skin. All Orjan Soaps are natural and made with at least 90% pure olive oil. This soap is used for all skin types. No artificial colors, no chemicals or fragrances are added to the soap to ensure an eco-friendly process, making it safer for you and for our environment.   • Day 4

    Dead Sea free time - sunset Cycling at dead sea shores

    Free time to enjoy floating at the dead sea, afternoon time we meet with our cycling team to do a Sunset cycling at the dead sea shores and enjoy the breathtaking view before we head back to our hotel.

  • Day 5

    Dead sea - Wadi Bin Hammad Trail – then to Petra

    After breakfast, we drive to Wadi Bin Hammad, Hot Spring is situated between Madaba and al-Karak, south of the capital Amman. It is hidden deep in a large valley with lush vegetation, hanging gardens, palm trees, and plenty of water running through a narrow gorge (Siq). this short and attractive family-friendly walk is an easy stroll for all ages and is a wonderful introduction to Jordan’s hidden natural treasures. The drive to the wadi on the valley’s steep slopes is spectacular by itself, with magnificent views of the area. Continue our drive to Petra, overnight.

  • Day 6

    Petra visit – evening dinner with a local family

    One of the New 7 Wonders of the World, it is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and the greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab civilization who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India, and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece, and Rome. The Nabataean Kingdom existed for centuries, and Petra became widely admired for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels. Ultimately, however, the Roman Emperor Trajan annexed the Kingdom. While in Petra, we'll get to explore the site from various perspectives. We'll start by walking through the narrow Siq, a sandstone chasm with towering walls that reach 260 feet (80 meters) high. As we reach the end of the Siq, we'll be greeted by the magnificent sight of El Khazneh, also known as the Treasury. We'll have the chance to venture further and explore the higher caves and the High Place of Sacrifice, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire site. On the ground level, we'll pass by the houses, tombs of wealthy citizens, and the amphitheater. If you're up for it, there's an option to climb around 800 steps to reach El Deir, also called the Monastery, which boasts an impressive facade topped by a large urn. Although it requires some effort, the reward of experiencing the Monastery in its remote setting is truly worth it. Evening w visit Abu Fadi Family to enjoy dinner with his family at their house. Return to hotel for overnight.

    Petra to Wadi Rum, cycling 1.5 Hours in Wadi Rum

    After Breakfast, we drive to Wadi Rum, stands as a mesmerizing desert wonder, capturing the hearts of travelers with its awe-inspiring landscapes, rich history, and Bedouin hospitality. The allure of this remote and mystical desert destination continues to draw adventurers and nature lovers seeking an unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking beauty of Wadi Rum, the "Valley of the Moon." Then you will enjoy Cycling for around 1.5 hours at the mud flats promises a delightful and memorable adventure. From the scenic views to the wildlife sightings, this coastal cycling experience provides an opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the tidal flats. Just remember to plan, respect the environment, and make the most of your time exploring this unique coastal ecosystem.

  • Day 8

    4X4 tour in Wadi Rum – drive to Aqaba

    After Breakfast, start a 4X4 jeep ride in Wadi Rum, the tour in the desert promises an unforgettable adventure, filled with natural beauty, cultural insights, and thrilling moments. It's an opportunity to connect with the wild and untamed side of nature, leaving you with cherished memories of your desert exploration. Continue to the Red Sea city of Aqaba, free time and overnight.

  • Day 9

    Cycling in Ayla city, Golf Course, Saraya Water Park

    After Breakfast, a short drive to Ayla city to meet with our cycling team, cycle around the city for around 20 KM, we end our trail at Aqaba Golf area, start a short golf course followed by a visit to Aqabawi to try some local hand maid crafts with the local community. we continue our day and drive to Saraya Water park where you will have the rest of the day. Evening back to your hotel for overnight.

  • Day 10

    Aqaba - Madaba

    After Breakfast, we drive to Madaba, Madaba is a captivating city that showcases Jordan's rich history, artistic heritage, and religious significance. Its awe-inspiring mosaics, archaeological treasures, and warm culture make it a must-visit destination for those seeking an authentic and enriching experience in the heart of Jordan. Overnight at your hotel.

  • Day 11

    Madaba – Departure

    After Breakfast, enjoy a free time in the city before leaving to Airport for your departure.

    Food & Drinks

    All breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner in Wadi Rum are included. For other meals please note that we support local restaurants and traditional meals in our programs, your tour leader will suggest a local restaurants options in each city such as Dinner with a local family in Petra (Abu Fadi Family), baked pastries making in a family bakery in Wadi Mousa, Cooking Class in Petra, Falafel and Shawerma local restaurants and many other options, which the income will goes directly to the local community running this business.

    Note: please highlight any dietary requirements (Vegetarian, Gluten Free  … etc) while confirming your booking so we can inform our leader and suppliers to be provided.

    Transportation

    Van or Mini bus will be provided for your transportation depending on group size, and we will provide a support vehicle to carry all your personal belongings.

    Weather & Climate

    In October, Jordan experiences comfortable temperatures, ranging from a low of 18°C to a high of 28°C. While there might be a few rainy days, the overall weather during this month is typically pleasant, we suggest checking the weather forecast. It’s highly recommended to review the 14-day weather forecast for Jordan before your visit to ensure you are well-prepared for your trip.

    Hydration & Water

    To minimize our impact, we aim to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles during your trip. Instead, we offer a solution that ensures access to safe drinking water throughout the journey. All you need to do is bring a reusable bottle that can be refilled along the way. Please remember to include a refillable bottle on your packing list to support our efforts in reducing plastic waste.

    Helmets are mandatory for everyone on this trip. You can bring your own, if not we will be providing it on free of charge.
